Misty Burton
Client Relation Specialist Manager
I have been in the veterinary field since 1995. Upon graduation from high school, I moved to North Carolina from Arkansas. I started my career as a Veterinary Assistant, working my way to a Client Relations Specialist and then into a Supervisor role. I have been married since 2008 and have two beautiful children. Outside of my career, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, photography, reading, fishing, boating, and cheering on my son’s baseball team. I am also very active within my church and love serving the Lord and being with my church family.
Nancy Halcomb
Client Relation Specialist
I began working with animals in 2000. I started off at a local boarding and training facility, however I started my career in the veterinary field in 2004. Since starting in the field, I have also worked closely with in and out of state rescues. I earned my veterinary assistant degree through Professional Career Development Institute in 2003, and have continued my education through Penn Foster, where I am taking classes through the state to become a trained and licensed wildlife rehabilitator. I have 3 children and 3 grandchildren. I currently share my home with 7 amazing canines. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family and my pets.

Groomers
Wendy Oliver
Groomer
My name is Wendy and I am a groomer here at Thomasville Veterinary Hospital. I have been grooming since 2001, but have been taking care of the pets at TVH since 2015. I became a groomer on a whim out of necessity, but stayed with it because I enjoy it. I am a lover of most animals (no spiders, please). I am the mother of a wonderful grown son (Ricky), two sweet Dogs (Soldier and Chloe) and a five member kitty brigade (Dallas, Boston, Cowboy, Panther, and Reilly) collectively known as “The Furry Fury.” On my days off I can usually be found at the NC Zoo or other animal related places, taking lots of pictures and enjoying the outdoors. I hope to see you soon at TVH. I would love the privilege of taking care of your pet’s grooming needs.
